Teacher Supporting Materials provide teacher and student-facing materials that support lessons, including:

Exemplars and answer keys
Materials used in lessons include anchor charts, photos, affix lists, etc.

Homework resources

All teacher supporting materials are available at point of use, throughout the platform. Downloadable materials are available within the Additional Materials tab within lessons.

Color Resources (Grades K-2 only) are a compilation of photos and other images used in K-2 Module Lessons.

ELL Teacher Guide and Supporting Materials (Grades 6-8 only) provide background information, teaching strategies and differentiation materials to support ELLs and other diverse learners. Materials are designed to be used in conjunction with other Teacher Guides and Teacher Supporting Materials.

Trade Books

The EL Education Language Arts curriculum is centered around reading rich, authentic texts. The Required Text Lists include anchor texts and other texts used throughout each Module of the curriculum. The Recommended Text Lists provide a list of texts of varying genres and levels of complexity, all centered around the Module topics.
