What is the purpose of this feature?

This feature will separate English and Spanish materials into two separate tabs, along with direct access to the Spanish version. The banner with the Switch to Spanish button allows you to easily find and use Spanish-language lesson materials right from the Lesson Tab. No more digging through the Materials tab.

Value Proposition:

New Spanish Materials tab: We have a new dedicated tab to distinguish between the English and Spanish materials/resources.
Quick switch button: Teachers could click on a button, and it would then take them to the Spanish version of the content.
Removes navigation friction: Teachers don't have to spend time figuring out if the lesson has an associated Spanish version or materials.

How to make use of the feature?

Option #1

Open the Lesson Plan for any supported ILIM or Imagine IM lesson.
Look for a new “Spanish Materials” tab near the top of the lesson view (under the lesson title and Standards tags).
Click the provided tabs to open or download Spanish-language resources, including:
1. PDFs
2. Instructional guides
3. Worksheets

Option #2

You can quickly access the Spanish version of the lesson with just a click of the "Switch to Spanish" button on the top banner.

NOTE: Switching back to the English version can be attained through the browser back navigation (presently, it does not support the switch back to English the same way it does from English to Spanish)

Quick Pointers:

You’ll see only the Spanish content that was previously added to the Materials tab. If nothing appears, it means Spanish materials were not authored for that lesson.
Assignments: You still have to choose between assigning English or Spanish versions of the lesson—toggling between them is not supported after assigning the content (future options may add this).
