Each student starts with five unit fraction cards and picks three non-unit "secret fraction" cards to build using their unit fractions.
On their turn, students have two choices:
- Ask their partner if they are holding a unit fraction card.
- Trade one of their secret fractions for the secret fraction card on the top of the stack.
If a student has the requested unit fraction, they give it to their partner.
If they do not have it, they tell their partner to pick a unit fraction card from the stack.
Once a student has enough unit fractions to make a secret fraction, they show it to their partner and explain how they built the non-unit fraction.
The first partner to build their three secret fractions wins the game.
