Deleting and archiving best practices

After you have published content that is shared with other users, avoid deleting or removing resources unless absolutely necessary. You may replace or edit a resource, but if you delete or remove a resource that has already been published, users may experience errors in their own copies of the resource.

Whenever possible, archive instead of deleting the resource after it has been published.

If you need to replace an entire Lesson Plan that has already been published, archive it instead. When you archive a Lesson Plan, you will have the option to redirect customers to another Lesson Plan, or you can write them a message explaining why their page is no longer accessible.
